MAX MUNCY

Former McKinney Marshals star Max Muncy (Keller HS, Baylor University) starred at Keller High School and played a key role in the Marshals winning the WWBA World 17U Championship in Fort Myers, Florida. Drafted out of high school by Cleveland, he instead chose to go to Baylor University, and played summer ball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Code Baseball League. Max was drafted by the A's in the 2012 MLB draft, and has played with the Dodgers since signing with them in April of 2017.

kyle muller

Kyle Muller was a Jesuit Prep star when he played for the Marshals before Atlanta drafted him. During his senior year at Jesuit he set a national high school record for strikeouts with 24 K’s in a row. During that season, he recorded 133 strikeouts and was named the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year. While at Jesuit he committed to play college baseball for the University of Texas Longhorns, but was drafted by the Braves with the 44th pick of the 2016 draft.

Phillies ace Jake Arrieta was a McKinney Marshals ace when he attended Plano East Senior High School. Folliowing high school, Jake’s path to the big leagues took him through Weatherford Junior College and TCU. He was drafted by the Orioles, was traded to the Cubs four years later, and four years later to the Phillies. He has pitched for the US national team in the Olympics, pitched a no-hitter, won the Cy Young Award, and won the World Series with the Cubs.

AUSTIN SCHOTTS

Austin Schotts was a Marshals shortstop from Frisco Centennial High School when he was drafted with the 2nd overall pick of the Detroit TIgers. Austin’s hard work and dedication paid off. He still holds the Marshals record for fastest player with a laser-timed 6.30 sixty.

He played on a Marshals summer collegiate team before signing with the Red Sox following the 2016 MLB draft.

CASON SHERROD
Cason Sherrod played for the Marshals while starring for WT White High School in Dallas. Recruited to play for the Texas A&M University, he pitched all four years for the Aggies before being selected by the Miami Marlins in the seventh round of the draft with the 207th pick in the 2018 MLB draft.
